Holiday Prep For The Soul | Part 2: emotional eating
Good Monday to you, beloved! Here's our second part of our soul preparation for the Holidays. If you're anything like me, you go to the pantry when you stress out. Defense mechanisms that aren't healthy give us false hope. I want true hope! I want to evolve to the best version of me. I want to be different than my bad habits of yester. I've learned that to stay at a healthy weight, I must not eat when I am not hungry. More often than not, stress causes an urge to eat to avoid or placate BIG, difficult, emotions. But the coping mechanism is short lived and the consequences are many.
