Libier - New (Lyric Video) | My Very First Song

Healing from past abuse these past several years has been the hardest season of my life. Without God, my family & friends, I would have probably ended my life.I am so glad I didn't. I am so glad I held on to the shred of hope that things could get better. They haven't gotten better, they have gotten more amazing than I could've ever imagined. I believed that God would heal me, redeem me, and give me life abundant. And he has!  I have so much hope that this song will encourage anyone who has suffered from any kind of abuse. My prayer and hope is that anyone that is hurting might understand how valuable they are. And that it's important to fight through the healing process. There is a better place and the other side and it is awesome.

God has done so many miracles in my life, but the most surprising has been the gift of being able to write this song. I never in a million years would have ever thought I would be singing or writing a song and recording it. But here it is. From my heart to yours.

Thank you to Ariel Berlin, also Xing @Caliallstaring and my lovely husband for their beautiful photography on this video. (if you need an amazing Realtor in Sacramento, my husband is your guy, he's really not a professional photographer, he just loves me so much he's my Instagram husband, can I get an AMEN. Thank you honey!)

Thank you to Ryan Farrington for playing the guitar on my song and producing it and getting it to a finished product.

Thank you to my niece Samantha Davalos for her beautiful artwork in the video!

Thank you to all the people who have listened to me, encouraged me not minimized my pain and helped me along my journey! I love you all!

And thank you to Jesus, my savior, for whom I live today!

" The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3     and provide for those who grieve in Zion--
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
    instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
    instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness,
    a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor." Isaiah 61: 1-3
