A Card For When You Don’t Know What To Say
I painted these “Lemons” after losing my dad to brain cancer in 2020, when darkness felt so HEAVY.
AND inside this grief card are the words I once longed to hear during another difficult time, when my mother attempted to take her life in my early twenties.
At that time, a friend from my theater days gave me a card that helped restore my faith, and it changed everything.
This card I designed carries the hope that you’d make a difference in your loved one’s life and faith!
Interior Message:
"Words can not express how challenging this must be for you.
Friend, my heart is grieving with yours. You might feel hopeless, frightened, worthless, or ashamed.
Don't believe the lies. Through faith in JESUS, you are more than enough!
You are loved. You are seen. You are valuable, and you are safe. In the midst of your sorrow and pain, find comfort and peace by calling on the name of JESUS.
His perfect love will be like a balm to your pain. And one day, Jesus will give purpose to the rain.”
